Meet Josie

My journey to becoming a Nutritional Therapist began 13 years ago.  I had a 10 year successful and demanding career in Sales with consumer goods companies, however my health started to suffer.  I began to develop multiple food intolerances, eczema and fatigue, which I now realise were due to the impact of stress.  I reached a junction in life and decided that I needed to take a step back.
6 months of life coaching led me to realise that I wanted to follow my passion for food and science, restore my own health and strive for a career with greater personal gain.
I quit my job and enrolled myself on a Nutritional Therapy course. After 3 hard years of studying, in 2010 I qualified with a First Class Honours Degree in Nutritional Therapy through the Centre for Nutrition Education (CNELM – Middlesex University).
Whilst studying, I realised the impact that stress had on my whole body, due to lifestyle and dietary choices.  I had no idea that my gut could be the window to my own health.  This knowledge led me to totally alleviate all of the intolerances, eczema and other symptoms that I had been experiencing.  Since then I’ve had a passion for all things ‘gut health’ related and can see that this plays a pivotal part in overall health outcomes.
I believe that every client I meet has individual requirements and as such, I aim to offer understandable, structured, achievable programmes delivering a balance of nutrition, lifestyle and emotional well being.
